As a professional stock photographer, my processing is all about speed and quick turnover. With digital, highlights are a very delicate matter. Morning and
evening cloudless skies tend to blow out.
I try to edit them out as much as
  Also, I've dramatically cut down on using glass filters, but frequently use the Brilliance/Warmth filter to exactly replicate 81 series glass warming filters.

When I have time to really work on an image for print, I get appealing results (on the right image) by maxing out the Pastel filter and printing on cotton based paper!
